Please note that the road to Draugahlíðar slope can’t be driven all the way to due to soft ground, see more detail on the slope information page. has been washed away in two places so there is an additional 1200 meter walk to the foot of the hill from where you’ll need to park your car. There is no water present on the road or in the ditches so you don’t need boots to go past the damage in the road.

The trophy for the winner is ready and waiting for a new home after the competition. As before a local artist is instrumental in the creation plus some of our members also contribute to it.
